1. Academic Project Scope & Educational Purpose

GitCanvas is developed exclusively as an academic evaluation and capstone project for the E-Business (EBU) course at Hanoi University (HANU). The application serves as a technical demonstration of e-commerce architecture, SaaS workflows, and modern web application engineering.

Any commercial pricing representations (such as Free, Pro at 79,000 VND, and Career at 199,000 VND) are academic hypotheses designed for coursework simulation. No actual commercial enterprise is operating, and no binding legal merchant contracts are formed.

2. Simulated Checkout & Transactions

All checkout interactions, package purchases, and payment simulations on GitCanvas are strictly virtual test flows. The platform does not collect real payment credentials, bank account numbers, or credit card details. Users will not be charged real money under any circumstance.

3. User-Generated Content & Markdown Usage

Developers and users retain full ownership of any text, repository links, project descriptions, and personal data entered into the GitCanvas visual builder. Generated Markdown (`README.md`) files are free for users to copy, modify, and host on their public or private GitHub accounts without royalty.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use GitCanvas to generate misleading, fraudulent, defamatory, or malicious content, or to impersonate other developers, organizations, or institutions.

5. Limitation of Liability

GitCanvas is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. As an academic project, the authors and Hanoi University assume no liability for downtime, loss of data stored in browser cache, or third-party GitHub API availability changes.
